When a Tire
Can’t Be Repaired

Not every flat is fixable. If the damage is in the sidewall, too large, or the tire has been driven on flat long enough to damage the inside, replacement may be the only safe call.

We’ll always recommend the safest option first. If it’s repairable, we repair it. If it’s not, we’ll tell you straight.

Common Reasons a Tire May Not Be Repairable:

  • Puncture is in the sidewall or shoulder area
  • Hole is too large for a safe repair
  • Tire was driven on while low or completely flat
  • Internal structure or sidewall has been damaged

Flat Tire Repair
FAQ

A few of the most common questions we get about mobile flat tire repair, roadside help, pricing, and what to expect before we arrive.

Can a flat tire always be repaired?

No. Some flats can be safely repaired, but sidewall damage, larger punctures, blowouts, or tires that have been driven on while flat may need to be replaced instead.

Do you come to my location?

Yes. Tread & Go is a mobile tire service, so we come to your home, workplace, or roadside location depending on availability and access.

How much does flat tire repair cost?

Standard flat tire repair is $80. Emergency or roadside flat service starts at $140 depending on distance, urgency, and the situation.

Do you repair sidewall damage?

No. Sidewall damage is not safely repairable. If the damage is in the sidewall or shoulder area, replacement is usually the correct option.

What if my tire can’t be repaired?

If the tire is not safely repairable, we’ll explain why and go over replacement options. In many cases, we may be able to source and install a replacement tire for you.

How fast can you get here?

Response time depends on location, schedule, and current call volume. The fastest way to find out is to call or text with your location and situation.
