Tread & Go started for a reason bigger than tires.
A little while after my wife and I bought a used car, I ordered new tires for it online and thought it would be ideal for someone that could just come to the house to install them. Not long after, our middle child passed away after a terrible accident, and our world changed.
Out of that loss came the idea for Tread & Go: a mobile tire shop that not only makes life easier for busy individuals, families and professionals, but also gives back. My goal was to build a strong, sustainable business that can donate full sets of tires to families who are struggling and need safe, reliable transportation. Every tire we install helps us get closer to helping another family stay safely on the road, in her honor.

Yes. Tread & Go is fully mobile—we come to your driveway, garage, job site, or parking lot so you don’t have to sit at a tire shop.
We serve drivers across Northern Michigan, including Traverse City, Kalkaska, Kingsley, and surrounding communities. If you’re unsure, call or text and we’ll let you know.
Absolutely. Call or text us your tire size and what you ordered, and we’ll set up a time to mount, balance, and install them where your vehicle is.
Most passenger cars, SUVs, and light trucks. For trailers or specialty vehicles, just reach out and we’ll tell you what we can do.
After the job’s done, you can pay right on-site with card or digital payment. We’ll send a clear invoice—no surprise add‑ons.
We don’t have in-house financing but we’re currently able to offer Affirm and Klarna for financing and Acima for leasing.

Most installs or swaps take about 45–60 minutes, depending on the vehicle and how many tires we’re doing.
Yes, we can haul away and dispose of your old tires for a small recycling fee ($6/tire), or leave them if you prefer to keep them.
We can mount, balance, and rotate tires, plus handle flat repairs and seasonal changeovers.
Our pricing is competitive with local shops, and you save the time, hassle, and towing by having us come to you.
We work year‑round. For safety, we may need to reschedule in extreme conditions, but we’ll always keep you updated.
